We love to add fresh vegetables and fruits into our meals whenever we can. Try swapping your regular salad routine for this fantastic Swiss Chard Salad recipe. It is incredibly easy to make and it is a wonderful way to enjoy the healthy and nutritious benefits Swiss Chard has to offer.

  • Prep: 15 mins
  • Yields: 6 - 8 salads


Swiss Chard 1 bunch (rinsed well and chopped)

Red Onion 1 Small (sliced thin)

Vanilla Cherry on Top 1 Box Mix

Apple 1 small (cored and chopped)

Apple Cider Vinegar 2 Tablespoons

Salt 1/4 tsp

Pepper 1/4 tsp

Olive Oil 1 Tablespoon

Warm Water 2 Tablespoons


Prepare your Salad

1Prepare all your fresh ingredients (lettuce, onion, apple) and toss them in a large glass bowl together.

2Prepare your dressing mix (directions below) and pour your dressing over your Swiss Chard Salad. Toss to coat, turning the leaves to make sure the vinaigrette is distributed evenly throughout your salad.

3Chill salad in the fridge for up to 12 hours before serving.

4Top with extra chopped nuts (optional) before serving.

For the Dressing

1Dump package of Vanilla Cherry On Top Mix into a small bowl. Add salt, pepper, olive oil, water and Apple Cider Vinegar. Whisk vigorously until fully combined and mix has dissolved.

Our Swiss Chard Salad recipe is very versatile. There are many other wonderful fresh additions that will make this salad equally amazing. Try the following extra fresh stuff options! Pear, Avocado, dates, bell pepper, roasted sweet potato. Looking to add additional protein to this salad? Toss in 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa for another healthy twist!
