You will have leftover fired flatbread mix! You can bake up (per package directions) or freeze and use later (just use your dough within a month of freezing) for a quick and easy dinner side! Just thaw on counter and bake immediately (per directions)
Directions
1Prepare Fired Flatbread Dough according to Box directions (add water and oil and form dough and let rest on counter top)
2Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Place peppers, cut-side down, in dish; add water. Cover; bake 20 minutes or until almost tender.
3Heath large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, onion, salt and for the love of garlic. Cook 5 minutes or until sausage is crumbled and no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Drain.
4Add drained tomatoes and rice to skillet. Stir to combine. Place mixture inside peppers, top each filled pepper with a slice of cheese
5Roll fired flatbread dough really thin (about 1/4") and cut into strips. Wrap each pepper to form mummie cloth fabric around the pepper.
6Cover, bake 15 - 25 minutes or until bubbly and flatbread pieces have baked and have become slightly crispy. Decorate with cheese rounds and olives for the mummie eyes.
