Strawberries & Cream Smoothie Bowl

July 12, 2017

Smoothie bowls are one of my favorite go to morning or 'before/after' workout meal options. When I don't feel like drinking my protein, the smoothie bowls offer something just a little different that combines flavors, textures and other wholesome ingredients. By using our 0 sugar Premium SmoothZ (Vanilla Creme Caramel featured here) you save a ton of sugar and infuse a perfect amount of whey protein into your meal.

  • Prep: 5 mins
  • Yields: 1 smoothie bowl

Ingredients

Smoothie Bowl

1 heaping cup frozen strawberries

2/3 cup unsweetened or vanilla almond milk (or coconut/cashew milk) -- 45 cals per 8oz or less

1 scoop Crave It Vanilla Creme Caramel Premium 0 Sugar Protein SmoothZ Blend

Toppings

1 Tablespoon shredded coconut (unsweetened preferably)

Handful Blueberries

Handful Pomegranate Seeds

2 Tablespoons Honey style granola

1 Tablespoon Vanilla fat free greek yogurt

Directions

1Add frozen berries to blender and blend on low until small bits remain

2Add your protein powder and almond milk. Blend on low again, scraping down sides as needed, until the mixture reaches a soft serve consistency

3Scoop into serving bowl and top with desired toppings (see above). Spoon your greek yogurt into the bowl and swirl following the shape of the bowl

Best when fresh! Keep leftovers in freezer for up to 1 - 2 weeks. Thaw before you enjoy
