If you are looking for a simple, delicious and easy dessert to make for your Fourth of July and Independence day celebrations, try our sugar cookie patriotic fruit pie. Just a few ingredients and a handful of delicious fruit is all it takes! A pretty flag inspired pie with strawberries bananas and blueberries. Pretty for your Fourth of July festivities and delicious to eat.

Do You Bake? Sugar Cookies Mix 1 Box Mix

Bananas 1 medium banana, sliced

Pudding Vanilla or Banana (prepared) - about 2 cups

Blueberries 1/2 cup

Strawberries Sliced in half, about 1/2 cup


1Preheat oven 350F

2Prepare your Do You Bake? Sugar Cookies mix per package directions.

3Lightly grease a 9" pie plate and press your sugar cookie dough into the bottom and up along the sides of your pie plate. Allow the sugar cookie to hang slightly over the edge and crimp or press with a fork.

4Bake your sugar cookie crust for 18 - 22 minutes, until lightly golden

5Remove from oven and cool completely

6Prepare your Pudding mix and refrigerate at least an hour

To assemble your Patriotic Fruit Pie:

1Wash and cut your fruit

2Fill your sugar cookie fruit pie crust with your prepared pudding

3Arrange your fruit to resemble a flag. Use the bananas for your white strips, strawberries for the red and the blueberries for the blue stripes

4Refrigerate an hour and serve.

TIP : Leftover cookie dough? Bake off leftover cookie dough and top with red, white and blue sprinkles for a festive cookie box to add to your festive table.
