Easy reindeer pancakes. Make these pancakes with the kiddos during your holiday break. We use Do You Bake? Buttermilk flip flop flapjacks mix for a delicious buttermilk pancake.
- Prep: 10 mins
- Cook: 20 mins
- Yields: 10 - 12 reindeer
1Make up your batch of Do You Bake? buttermilk flip flop flap jacks. Combine butter, water and eggs and box mix. Beat until combined. A few lumps showing in batter is OK. Set aside to rest for 20 minutes.
2Heat a skillet on stovetop to medium heat. Grease lightly with butter. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto pan. Next to the side of your forming 'round' pancake, pour another 3 tablespoons of batter towards the left lower corner and mould with a fork. Repeat for another six times. These are your reindeer heads!
3With remaining batter, pour smaller (2 - 3 T) rounds of batter onto pan and shape slightly into an egg shape or oval (these are your ears!) Repeat with remaining batter.
Assemble your Reindeer
1on each plate! --- 1. add your reindeer head and arrange your ears. One ear tucked under and one ear on top 2. Cut your marshmallows thin in 'depth' and place as the eye. Top with your blueberry (or you can use a chocolate piece too!) 3. Add your baby cherry for the nose 4. Arrange your bacon. One for the mouth and seeral for the reindeer antlers.
2Repeat until all your reindeer plates are made! Top with syrup and enjoy
