Holiday Biscotti Recipe

This simple, no fuss biscotti mix is amazingly delicious. Using a sugar cookie mix makes life so much easier when creating your very own holiday biscotti. The great thing about this recipe? You can turn this simple biscotti into different exotic and Christmas or Holiday variations just by a few simple add-ins like cranberries, pistachios, white chocolate, peppermint to name a few.

Make Your Basic Dough
1Combine all wet and dry ingredients together (minus suggested mix ins)
2Add in your optional mix-ins to create your favorite holiday inspired biscotti.

- Pistachio, Cranberry & White Chocolate
- Peppermint Candy
- chocolate chocolate
1Divide dough in half.
2On each of 2 ungreased cookie sheets, shape half of dough into 15x2-inch log.
3Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
4Cool on cookie sheets 20 minutes.
5Reduce oven temperature to 250°F
6Place logs on cutting board.
7Cut crosswise into 3/4-inch slices.
8Place slices cut sides down on ungreased cookie sheets.
9Bake 40 minutes, turning once.
10Immediately remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
11Cool 10 minutes.
12With small, fine strainer, lightly sprinkle powdered sugar over tops of cookies.
13Store loosely covered.
